Open Water Diver Course

Are you thinking how to get the Open Water Scuba certificate?

In this trip, you´ll learn to dive and while you discovering the wonderful under the sea.

We will travel to Cabo Tiñoso (Murcia) in a small group trip of 8 people, as well as an experienced guide. This is one of the best scuba diving destinations for open water divers in Spain, because of its calm water and warm weather, which you can enjoy while learning the techniques of this fun sport.

The course will last from 4 to 5 days, that we will also use to visit the beautiful nearby cities of Cartagena and Murcia. After the course is finished, we will travel to Granada for two nights to get to know its monuments, streets and amazing food.

Itinerary


PROGRAM

  • Day 1: Pick you up from Alicante´s airport or Madrid

Welcome! On the first day of the trip, we will pick you up from Alicante’s airport or Madrid and take you to Hotel La Cumbre, located in Puerto Mazarron, where you will meet the rest of the group.

  • Days 2 to 6 : Open Water Diver Course

The diving center is just 15 minutes by car from the Hotel. We will drive you there in the morning, after breakfast. On the first day, we will dive both next to the diving center and from a boat. The group can decide how to organize the classes according to what works best for them.

There is also flexibility regarding what to do in the spare time! You can choose wether to visit nearby cities like Cartagena or Murcia, travel around the area or chill out at the hotel.

  • Days 6-7: Granada

For the last day of the course, we will move to the astonishing city of Granada, where we will stay for 2 nights. There you’ll discover its magic streets, arabic architecture and, of course, amazing traditional food.

  • Day 8: Last day

Sadly, the trip is over… We will drive you to Málaga’s airport or Madrid for our last goodbye. Hope to see you soon!

OUR TOUR GUIDE

Passionate about traveling and diving, Lise has been working for different travel agencies since 2010! Both as Head of department in Spain for major danish travel agencies, and as a group tour guide in countries such as Cuba, Mexico, Morocco, Portugal and, of course, Spain.

Currently studying anthropology at the University of Madrid, she made her great interest in culture her way of life. She loves her job, and that, along with her kindness and sympathy, makes it an enjoyable trip. In addition, her fluency in Spanish will allow you to live a more insightf

LODGING

Our house during the trip will be the 3 stars hotel La Cumbre, in Puerto de Mazarrón. Double rooms, swimming pool, chill-out area… Plus, the beach is just 12 minutes of walking distance.
